The National Digital Repository Center on Defence Studies (NDRCDS) includes all types of information sources on Defence, Security and related studies. Sri Lanka, a country, having a long history of war experience in different hist- orical stages, carries an importance in the region in its geographical location. With this scenario, this repository is bu ilt to preserve national memory of Defence and Security related knowledge through a centralized information system. The Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies (FDSS) and the Library, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence Univer- sity jointly developed this repository system with the financial patronage from Prof. Emerita Kusuma Cooray, Consul Emeritus of Hawaii co- nsular corps and former honorary consul for Sri Lanka in Hawaii.
